أول قمر اصطناعي يتم تطويره داخل مختبر الياه سات للفضاء بالإمارات
شبكة المدار الإعلامية الأوربية…_أعلنت جامعة خليفة للعلوم والتكنولوجيا بالعاصمة الإماراتية أبوظبي، نجاح مهام بناء وتجميع وفحص النموذج الهندسي لأول قمر اصطناعي يتم تطويره داخل مختبر الياه سات للفضاء، تحت اسم “ماي سات – 1”. وتم تنفيذ المهام من قبل الطلبة الملتحقين ببرنامج الماجستير في نظم وتقنيات الفضاء بجامعة خليفة، بالتعاون مع شركة الياه للاتصالات الفضائية “الياه سات”، التابعة لشركة مبادلة.وتم بناء “النموذج الهندسي” للقمر “ماي سات-1”- وهو نسخة طبق الأصل عن الشكل النهائي للقمر الاصطناعي الجديد، واختباره بشكل مكثف في بيئة تحاكي ظروف الإطلاق والعمل في الفضاء، حسب ما ذكرت وكالة “وام”.وتم عرض النموذج الهندسي ونتائج الفحص الأخير في مختبر “الياه سات” للفضاء لوفد من شركة الياه سات، بالإضافة إلى أعضاء الهيئة الأكاديمية والطلبة في جامعة خليفة. واعتمدت لجنة المراجعة جاهزية النموذج الهندسي لإنتاج القمر الاصطناعي “ماي سات-1”.ومن المقرر تسليم “ماي سات-1” لشركة إطلاق الأقمار الاصطناعية وشركة ناسا بحلول شهر سبتمبر، استعدادا لإطلاقه في الربع الأخير من العام الجاري من منصة “مارس” لإطلاق المهمات الفضائية، عبر الرحلة “سيقنس أو إي 10” المتجهة لمحطة الفضاء الدولية.ويقوم “ماي سات – 1″، القمر المصمم لأغراض تعليمية، بالتقاط صور لدولة الإمارات من الفضاء، بغرض استعراض عملية الاستشعار عن بعد، كما سيختبر أيضا بطارية ليثيوم أيون جديدة، تم تصميمها وتطويرها في جامعة خليفة.
