وزارة الدفاع البلجيكية لن تمنح الجنود أوسمة شرف
شبكة المدار الإعلامية الأوربية…_رفضت وزارة الدفاع منح مداليات الشرف للجنود الذين تجاوزوا مهامهم للمساعدة خلال الهجمات الإرهابية في 22 مارس 2016 في بروكسل أو لمواجهة الإرهابيين في العاصمة في عام 2017،وفقا لتقارير اليوم الخميس نشرتها كل من La Dernière Heure و أيضا Het Laatste Nieuws و De Morgen.وطالت حوالي 40 جندي بميدالية شرف على تدخلاتهم أثناء الهجوم الإرهابي لكن وزارة الدفاع رفض ذلك.وقام ما مجموعه 29 من أفراد الكتيبة الذين تدخلون في زافنتم في 22 مارس بطلب مداليات عسكرية عن الخدمة الاستثنائية أو أعمال الشجاعة و التفاني لمواجهة الحادث، بالإضافة إلى ميدالية صندوق كارنيغي هيرو الذي يمنح مكافأة أعمال البطولة.كما طالب سبعة من الجنود الذين تدخّلوا في مالكبيك في نفس اليوم للعثور على ناجين بعد الانفجار في مترو الأنفاق والذين ساهموا في إخلاء محطة Arts-Loi بنفس الطلب وأيضا الجنود الثلاثة الذين قاموا بالتصدي لإرهابي قام بتفجير أول قنبلة في 20 يونيو 2017 في المحطة المركزية وثلاثة آخرين قاموا بنفس العمل مع إرهابي في بروكسل في 25 أغسطس 2017 .ووفقا لوزارة الدفاع”كان العمل الذي قام به الجيش في ذلك اليوم استثنائيا. وان كل الجيش فعل الشيء نفسه، لا نريد منح وسام البطولة في الدفاع. جميع الجنود الذين شاركوا في عملية اليقظة قد تلقوا ميدالية تذكارية للدفاع عن الإقليم ، لكننا لا نريد أن نفرق بينهم، وقال أليكس كلاسن ضابط في وزارة الدفاع: “لقد قاموا جميعا بعمل رائع”.
