شبكة المدار الإعلامية الأوربية …_ فيما كان سكان إقليم كتالونيا يتوجهون إلى مراكز الاقتراع الأحد، للتصويت على استفتاء الانفصال، كانت العاصمة مدريد تحتضن احتجاجات شطرت سكانها إلى معسكرين؛ أحدهما يؤيد والآخر يعارض انفصال الإقليم الكتالوني.إذ احتشد المئات من “سكان العاصمة” في ساحة “بلازا مايور“، للقول إن “كتالونيا لجميع الإسبانيين“، قابل ذلك المشهد على الطرف الآخر من العاصمة، وتحديدا في ساحة “بويرتو ديل سول“، حشد يدعم “حق الإقليم في الانفصال”.وشهد إقليم كتالونيا وقوع مئات الإصابات بسبب المواجهات القوية بين عناصر الشرطة الإسبانية والناخبين الذين احتشدوا منذ الصباح الباكر أمام مراكز الاقتراع، للتصويت في استفتاء الاستقلال الذي قررت حكومة برشلونة تنظيمه، وعارضته حكومة مدريد بشدة.وجاءت أحداث العنف في أعقاب اقتحام قوات الحرس الوطني لعدد من مراكز الاقتراع ومصادرة صناديق التصويت. وفي الوقت الذي قال فيه ممثل الحكومة الإسبانية في كتالونيا “إن قوات الأمن تتعامل بمسؤولية واحترافية مع ما يجري في الإقليم“، أكد المتحدث باسم الحكومة الكتالونية أن تصرفات الشرطة الإسبانية هي المسؤولة عن أعمال العنف التي تحدث، كما قال: “لقد بدأنا اتصالات مع الاتحاد الأوروبي حول انتهاك الحقوق الأساسية التي قد تضع الاتحاد نفسه في وضعية خطيرة
